Dundalk Young Irelands reviewed their season at their AGM, which took place at their clubrooms, Pairc Eire Og on Monday 7th December 2009.

The meeting began with prayers for deceased members and friends of the club and in particular for two Honorary Presidents Stephen White and Jim Cunningham, who passed away during the year. A prayer was also said for Club President Fr. Mulligan, who is ill at present and was unable to attend.

Outgoing Chairman, John Laverty welcomed the attendance. In his address he congratulated the Intermediate team and management winning the Division 3 League and on maintaining their intermediate championship status. John also thanked the ladies who prepared food and drinks for the team during the season. Congratulations were also given to the Minor team who won their subsidary competition.

In his address, outgoing Secretary Tony Hande congratulated the Intermediate team in winning the league and their championship campaign. He also thanked all who helped the club in any way during the season. Tony congratulated all the club members who are involved with Louth underage teams and Kieran Maguire in being selected as Louth Under 21 Manager for 2010. He also thanked the clubs sponsors, particularly Brubakers, Sony Playstation and Designer Kitchens.

In the elections that followed, John Laverty was re-elected Chairman. Secretary Tony Hande was returned for an eigth term. Kieran Maguire was returned as Manager of the Intermediate team for a second season. Long serving member and former Manager and Chairman, Gerry Nixon was elected as an Honorary President.
